Description
Fleetham Mill is a disused water mill from the early 19th century, currently used for storage. The building is constructed of random rubble with dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. It stands two storeys tall with various openings, including a broad stable-type door and an arched window with intersecting glazing bars on the left side. There are also two 8-pane windows and a pitching door. The housing for the waterwheel is integrated with the rest of the building on the left side. Due to the lie of the land, the rear of the building rises to three storeys. There is a single-storey lean-to with another broad stable-type door, and the gabled roof features flat coping. Although the interior has not been inspected in detail, it appears to retain many original features, including large round wooden hoppers, chutes, and gearing.
