Description
Tughall Farmhouse is a house built around 1830, featuring scored stucco with ashlar dressings and a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with two lower wings at the rear that create a narrow courtyard. There are two steps leading up to a central 20th-century glazed door, which is topped by a fanlight with radial glazing bars and a semicircular stone hood supported by scrolled brackets. The windows are 12-pane sashes set in raised surrounds. The hipped roof has two banded ridge stacks. On the right side, there is a later 19th-century bay window with tripartite 12-pane sashes and a hipped roof. At the rear, a round-headed stair window features radial glazing bars. Inside, the farmhouse includes a staircase with stick balusters, as well as six-panel doors and shutters.
