Description
The railings and gates located north-east of the lychgate to the Church of St. Mary in Morpeth are likely from the mid-19th century and are made of cast iron. They feature a row of bollards designed to resemble cannon barrels, topped with ball finials, and connected by spiked chains. At the north end, there is a gateway marked by two similar bollards serving as gate piers. The iron gates consist of spiked bars, dog bars, and an arched lower rail.
