Description
A row of five boundary stones, dating from around 1830, is located on the moor to the north-west of Snook Bank Farm. These stones are made of cut sandstone and feature segmental or flat-topped pillars that stand between 0.4 to 0.6 metres high. The north-east side of each stone has incised letters "W D," while the reverse side is plain. These stones mark the south-west boundary of a trapezoidal area of moorland. Two additional stones that are indicated on the Ordnance Survey map could not be found.
