Description
The outbuilding located 60 metres south-west of Fort House is a Grade II* listed water tank that also incorporates a former ablutions building, dating from around 1917. The structure is made of reinforced concrete, while the base is constructed from brick and rendered. The tank features a flat top and panelled sides supported by a frame with six slightly-splayed legs and a rail at mid-height. The posts and rails have stop-chamfered angles. The ablutions building at the base includes two boarded doors beneath timber lintels on the south side and re-glazed windows at both ends on the north side. Inside, there is an old water boiler located in the south-east corner.
