Description
The retaining walls below the road to the east of the King's Arms Hotel are likely from the 18th century and are constructed of roughly-squared stone. The walls consist of two lengths that are separated by a later stair. At the northern end of the northern section, there is an arch that is probably part of an old limekiln. The southern section is L-shaped and may have had seating for a crane at the angle. These walls are listed for their historical interest and their group value with the King's Arms Hotel.
