Description
The Hearse House, located 30 metres north-west of the Church of the Holy Cross, is a mid-19th century structure now used for storage. It is built from squared stone and features a stone-tiled roof. The front gable end has a pair of boarded doors with tooled-and-margined jambs and a lintel. The right side of the building displays alternating narrow and wide masonry courses. The rear and left sides are obscured by adjacent buildings. The roof has a moderate pitch. This building is included for its group value with the nearby church.
