Description
This building is an outbuilding located 20 meters east of No. 2 Newlands Farm Cottages. It was originally a Methodist Chapel from the early 19th century. The structure is made of rubble with roughly-cut quoins and features a dressed door lintel, window heads, and sills, topped with a slate roof. It is a single storey with two bays. The central boarded door is flanked by windows with pointed arches; to the left is a 24-pane sash window, and to the right is a 12-pane Yorkshire light. The door's overlight and the upper parts of the windows are concealed by boarding. The building has coped gables with moulded kneelers and arched block finials. There is a blocked window and a small loft light on the right return, while the other walls are plain.
