Description

This gateway, located approximately 200 yards west of Cheeseburn Grange, dates from around 1860 and is made of ashlar and iron. It features corniced octagonal gatepiers with square bases and ogee caps. The structure includes low convex walls that have ridged coping, topped by robust Gothic-style railings. Additionally, there are square, chamfered end piers with pyramidal caps.
