Description

The sundial in the walled garden at Cheeseburn Grange is a 17th-century pedestal sundial made of sandstone. It features a round Tuscan columnar base that is intricately carved with foliage. The top of the sundial is complex and multi-faceted, designed to record the time not only in Stamfordham but also in Cracow and Mexico.
