Description
The Hagg Farmhouse is a house dated '1691' on the keystone of the front door. It is constructed of rubble with stone dressings and features a slate roof and brick chimneys. The building is two storeys high with five irregular bays. The off-centre doorway is set within a moulded architrave under a keyed lintel, which displays the initials I (?) S above the date, and is enclosed by a 20th-century porch. The far left bay contains a three-light mullioned window, while the next bay has a later window in a blocked doorway with alternating jambs, and an 18th-century window in a plain stone surround above it. The two bays to the right of the porch feature two-light mullioned windows. Attached farm buildings to the left are not of interest.
