Description
This is a range of farm buildings located to the north of Riding Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century, with a gingang added in the early 19th century. The main range is constructed of rubble with tooled dressings, while the gingang is made of coursed stone with tooled-and-margined dressings. The roofs are primarily slate, except for the stone slates on the west side of the northern part of the main range.
The east elevation of the main range features a boarded door flanked by part-slatted windows, with similar windows positioned above. To the right, there is a stable door leading to the barn, and all openings are set within chamfered surrounds. The roof is hipped to the right. Additionally, there is a contemporary outshut byre at the rear of the right part of the range, and at the far right, a circular gingang is built onto the end of the range. Of the six openings in this structure, only the southern pair serves as entrances.
