Description

The Naisbet headstone, located approximately 5 yards southeast of the Church of St. Bartholomew in Whittingham Village, dates from 1760 and commemorates Robert Naisbet. This headstone is made of sandstone and stands about 3 feet high. It features moulded edges and an arched top, which contains a relief carving of an angel. The reverse side displays a skull and crossbones along with an inscription dedicated to William Morrison from 1802.
