Description

This summer house, located about 100 yards northwest of Roddam Hall, dates from the late 19th century. It is designed in a round shape with a conical roof topped by a ball finial. The structure is made from rough branches, with spaces filled in by small pieces of wood arranged in decorative patterns. The exterior walls are thatched with heather, while the roof is boarded and currently covered with roofing felt. Inside, there is fixed rustic seating.
