Description

Cheswick Cottage is a house built around 1820. It is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has an L-shaped plan and is two storeys high with five bays. It has alternating quoins and a central panelled door with an overlight, which is set within a later 19th-century lean-to conservatory. The windows are 12-pane sashes with projecting sills, framed in alternating-block surrounds. The roof is gabled with flat coping and has corniced end stacks. There is a similar rear wing that has a hipped roof.
