Description
Clive Terrace, located on Clayport Street, was built before 1827 and consists of eight consecutive two-storey houses, which step down towards the east. Each house has two or three windows. The buildings are constructed of ashlar, with Nos 7 and 8 featuring cill bands. The windows are sash style, fitted with late or plate glass. The front gardens are bordered by ashlar walls that face the street. No 1 has a two-storey, two-window bow positioned to the left of centre. Nos 2 and 3 are paired and have a common depressed arch doorway, while No 3 is fitted with casement windows. The roofs are covered with slate and have coped gables along with brick chimneys.
