Description

The AA Telephone Kiosk Number 817 is a mid-20th century telephone booth. It is constructed of tarred wood and features cast iron plaques, topped with a lead roof. The structure measures approximately 3 feet square and stands 7 feet high. A plaque on the front door displays the telephone sign, while a plaque on the left side indicates box number 817. The roof is pedimented on all sides, with AA initial plaques set within the pediments. This kiosk is a rare example of what were once common telephone boxes.
