Description
Outbuildings attached to the rear of West Fleetham Farmhouse date from the 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of random rubble with pantiled roofs and are arranged in an L-shape. On the left, connected to the rear wing of the house, is a former hind's cottage that is now used for storage. This section is single-storey with one bay and features three steps leading up to a boarded door on the left. The roof is hipped on the right side. In front of this cottage is a lean-to loggia supported by two wooden posts. To the right, there is a lower single-storey section that includes a similar loggia, which has been enclosed with 20th-century wood cladding. Further to the right, there is a privy and an ash pit, with the interior of the privy containing twin seats.
