Description

Gates, gatepiers, steps, and a mounting block located approximately 50 yards south of the Church of St. Michael, likely date from the mid-18th century, with the gates possibly from the early 20th century. The structure is made of ashlar and iron. It features very large square piers that are rusticated and have cornices. Above the cornices are three square blocks topped with pyramidal caps and ball finials. The double gates are designed in a Rococo style. To the left, there is a flight of four stone steps leading into the churchyard, and next to those steps is a mounting block that also has four steps.
