Description

The terrace retaining wall, located approximately 20 yards west of Whitton Grange, was built in 1921 by Robert Mauchlen. It is constructed from roughly-dressed stone and has an L-plan shape. The wall measures about 20 yards in length and varies in height from 6 to 12 feet. It features a pronounced batter and includes two setback buttresses at the corner. Additionally, there is a large semicircular projection on the left return.
