Description

The property comprises an 18th-century house extended and remodelled in the early 19th century, alongside a cottage formed from an 18th-century stable, remodelled in the early 20th century. The house is constructed of coursed rubble, with the first floor of the cottage built of snecked rubble. Cut quoins and dressings, largely tooled and margined, are also present. The house has a stone slate roof, while the cottage has a blue slate roof.

The south elevation, of two storeys, is divided into two sections. The house section has three bays. A renewed rustic wood porch provides access between the first and second bays, concealing the entrance door. The windows are mostly 16-pane sashes, with the centre first-floor window being a replacement. The ground floor features 12-pane sashes in the third bay and between the second and third bays. The cottage, to the right, has one bay, with a 20th-century porch flanked by renewed 12-pane sash windows in original openings. A further pair of similar windows are in later walling above. The building features stepped-and-corniced end stacks and one ridge stack.
