Description
Heatherslaw Farmhouse and attached garden shed is a house dating from the early 18th century, with walls added in the early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has four bays. There is a 20th-century door located in the second bay. The ground floor has four-pane sash windows, while the upper floor features small eight-pane Yorkshire sash windows. The roof is steeply pitched with gabled ends and has banded end stacks. At the rear, there is a continuous outshut. The garden wall has short side walls approximately 4 feet high with rounded corners, which ramp down to a lower front wall. This front wall is interrupted by plain arched gatepiers in front of the door. The farmhouse is said to retain its original roof timbers.
