Description

The Hall Tomb, located 2 metres east of the Church of St. Mary, is a Grade II listed table tomb dating from 1815. It is constructed of sandstone and features a slightly-domed slab with a moulded edge. The tomb bears an inscription dedicated to George Hall of Stannington Bridge. The closed end panels between the legs are designed in the form of square moulded urns.
