Description
This pair of boundary stones, located approximately 300 yards east of the railway, dates from the early 19th century. Made of sandstone, each stone stands about 3 feet 6 inches high on a broader chamfered base and is rectangular in shape. The top of the stones is ridged, with one side inscribed with "GH," indicating Greenwich Hospital, and the other side marked "GD." The second stone is partially buried in sand, but its top, which bears a similar inscription, remains visible.
