Description

This is a terrace of three houses, dated 1836. The buildings are constructed of squared stone, with a wooden shop front to number 6. They have a Welsh slate roof. The terrace is two storeys high and comprises four bays, with an irregular appearance. Numbers 4 and 5 each have renewed doors; the lintel above the door of number 5 is inscribed with the initials "T A" and a date. The windows are sash windows, with the original glazing bars sadly lost. Number 6 has a central four-panel door, with lozenge-shaped glazed panels, and a lintel inscribed with the initials "G E" and a date. To the left of the door is a shop window with three eight-paned panels, flanked by decorative shafts with moulded capitals, set within a surround featuring consoles and a moulded lintel. To the far left is a four-panel door, followed by four sash windows. The gables are coped, and there are two ridge stacks.
