Description

This boundary stone, likely from the 18th century, is made of cut sandstone and stands 0.60 metres high. It has a rectangular shape with a segmental top. The north side features the incised letter "L," while the south side has the letter "N." The stone is located 250 metres west of a sheepfold by Forster's Shaw Sike. It is not marked on the Ordnance Survey map, and nearby stones at NU 06140509 and NU 06190510 were not found during the survey.
