Description

This is a headstone dating from 1746, located 6 metres south-west of the nave of the Church of St. John in Acomb. It is made of sandstone and features a shaped segmental top adorned with a naive cherub. The headstone includes an inscription dedicated to John, son of John Bast of Fallowfield.
