Description

This wellhouse, likely built in the mid-18th century, is constructed from ashlar and has a square plan. It features a round arch with an archivolt supported by attached Tuscan columns, which encloses a fluted cast-iron spout above a broken bowl. The structure has a moulded cornice and a low pyramidal roof topped with a tall urn finial that has a gadrooned base. The sides of the wellhouse display recessed panels, and there is a rebated opening at the rear.
