Description

The screen wall, likely from the 18th century, is located adjacent to the north-west corner of the hall in Old Ridley, Broomley and Stocksfield. It is constructed of rubble with a dressed stone coping. The wall stands 4.5 meters high and features a flat coping that slopes steeply at each end. At the center, there is a small octagonal terracotta chimney pot, and a small slatted opening is positioned next to the house.
