Description
Nos 30, 32, and 33 Blackwellgate is a tall house from the mid to late 18th century, with slightly later window features, and a lower 18th-century building that wraps around the corner to Houndgate. Nos 30 and 32 are three stories tall with two windows and a swept pantiled roof. The walls are painted brick, and they feature sash windows without bars. On the first floor, there is a mid to late 19th-century shallow canted oriel window with narrow engaged columns and an entablature. The ground floor on the left has a small modern bow shop window and door, while on the right, there is a modern shop front that continues around the corner into the rear building. No 33 is two stories tall with one wide bay, finished in stucco and topped with a high-pitched pantiled roof, and has a long modern window on the first floor.
