This is a saw mill chimney located approximately 600 metres west of the A68. It dates from the early to mid 19th century and is constructed from thin courses of sandstone. The chimney is tapered and stands about 15 metres high, featuring a top string. The area around the chimney was once wooded, and it is included in the register for its landmark value.
