Description
The Coach House Centre is a former house that has been converted into a community centre, dating from around 1840. It is constructed from hammer-dressed sandstone and features a renewed Welsh slate roof along with rebuilt brick chimneys. The building is two stories high with an irregular four-bay front. To the left, there is a two-story, one-bay link to the coach house. The openings in the façade have flush stone surrounds, and there is a 19th-century four-panel door in the left bay, along with a blocked doorway in the third bay. The first floor has replaced four- and six-pane sash windows, with only three openings visible. The low-pitched roof has renewed coped gables and shaped kneelers, as well as chimneys at the central ridge and right end. The left link to the coach house has similar window arrangements and a low flat-coped parapet. At the rear, an off-centre, two-story outshut extends over both the house and the link. The building is included for its group value.
