Description

The Haining is a house that likely dates from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. It is constructed from rendered sandstone rubble and features a concrete-tiled roof with brick stacks. The building has two storeys and consists of five bays. The central entrance is a six-panel door set in a raised surround with chamfered rustication. The late 20th century single-pane casements have similar raised and rusticated surrounds, although the original central mullions have been removed. The roof is low-pitched and has two rebuilt ridge stacks.
