Description
This is a headstone from 1766 located 12 metres west of the entry to St. Michael's churchyard in Barningham Village. It is made of cut sandstone and features a swan-neck pedimented top that encloses the inscription "Memento mori." Above this, there is a dentil cornice over a sunk moulded panel that contains the main inscription dedicated to John Kipling.
