Description

These are a semi-detached pair of cottages built in an early to mid-19th century 'Tudor Revival' style. They are faced with render and have Welsh slate roofs, with red brick stacks. Each cottage is a small, single-storey structure with an attic. At the centre of the pair, a shared entrance has doors with vertical planking, a central glazed panel, a moulded four-centred head, recessed spandrels, and a dripmould. Either side of the entrance are small, two-light casement windows with pointed heads and dripmoulds, each containing three panes. Matching two-light gabled dormers, featuring slated cheeks and shaped bargeboards with finials, are positioned above the entrance. The roofs have gable ends and scalloped bargeboards, with rebuilt red brick stacks at each end. A similar two-light casement window is set into the left-hand gable on the upper floor. The rear elevation has two additional gabled dormers. The property under consideration has the window to the right and the door to the left. The building was not inspected when its records were reviewed.
