Description
The Parish Hall at Llanddewi-Skirrid is a building constructed with a timber frame and covered in corrugated iron sheeting. While the roof has been replaced, the walls are likely original. The hall features a nave, transepts, and a south porch, all designed in a Gothic style.
The entrance elevation includes a steeply gabled porch on the left, adorned with scalloped bargeboards and a double plank door set in a pointed arch. There are three 2-light windows with narrow mullions, a transom, and Gothic heads. In the transept gable, there is a larger 3-light window with two mullions, accompanied by a smaller single light window above. The bargeboards are topped with spike finials. A similar 3-light window and gable can be found at the gable end of the nave, while the opposite gable features a small fleche-shaped window at the apex. The rear elevation mirrors the front.
Inside, the hall consists of four bays with a principal rafter roof, where the principals extend down to moulded bracket stops. The walls have a plain boarded dado.
