Description

This is a detached cottage located at 2 Four Ash Street, featuring roughcast-rendered and painted walls, and a slate roof with a Gothick eaves cornice. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range of sash windows, which have 12/8 panes and Gothick intersecting glazing bars in the top sash. To the right of the cottage, there is a ground floor doorway that has a bracketed gabled hood and a fluted doorcase, leading to a recessed six-panel door with a transom light that includes polygonal glazing. An adjoining stone wall connects to the front kerb, which is complemented by iron railings topped with leaf and anthemion finials.
