Description

The Morgan Tomb in St Mary's Churchyard is a chest tomb designed in a Grecian style. It features a rectangular chest with corners that slope outward, resting on a plinth. The capstone supports an urn that matches the style of the chest. The tomb bears inscriptions in memory of Elizabeth, the wife of Francis Morgan of the parish of Llanbaddock, who died in 1823, and Francis Morgan himself. It also commemorates Anne Phillips of this town, who passed away in 1785.
