Description
Redbrook Railway Bridge is a Grade II listed structure made of wrought and cast iron, with a steel and concrete footbridge attached to the upstream side. The bridge features five spans of wrought iron girders, supporting a single track line that runs within the girders. It has a sharp curve, with each span being a separate girder supported by paired cast iron tubular piers that are cross-braced. These piers are positioned at right angles to the current, and the spans are sharply skewed. The footbridge is secured to the upstream side using steel brackets. The eastern end of the bridge is located in Redbrook civil parish, Gloucestershire.
