Description

The double icehouse in Pontypool Park is a domed brick structure built into the bank across from the stable block, which is now The Valley Inheritance Museum. It features one exposed brick wall, which may have originally been concealed by earth, and a concrete-reinforced top with two round holes.

Inside, both icehouses have an egg-shaped design with only a top entrance, although there is likely a drain hole at the bottom.
