Description
The Agricultural Range at Milgatw is a two-storey building constructed of rubble, which has recently been repointed. It features a newly renewed corrugated iron roof. The front elevation faces west and consists of five bays. The right bay is an addition with a slightly higher eaves line and a roof that is truncated to a single shallow pitch.
The older section has a central door flanked by square windows on either side, both of which have been renewed. Above the door is a square boarded window, and there is a small window towards the right end, set beneath the eaves. The right bay includes a door on the right and a window on the left, with a pitching door situated above the left window.
At the left end, there are stone steps leading to a loft door, which features a cambered stone voussoired head and a recess underneath the steps. The right end shows a stub of a former adjoining building that was of similar height. The older part of the building has an A-frame roof.
