English Methodist Chapel (including Vestry)

The English Methodist Chapel, which includes a vestry, features a simple classical design with a symmetrical front that has three bays and a pediment. The exterior is finished in painted cement render and topped with a hipped tiled roof at the west end. A datestone with a rounded head is set into the pediment. Each bay is flanked by tapered pilasters with high bases and a plain entablature. The windows are round arched with small panes, with the outer windows being semi-circular and the central window having four lights in a segmental shape. The entrance consists of recessed panelled double doors.

The side elevation has five bays, also rendered in cement, and features tall round arched windows with small panes and central transoms. On the south side, there is a smaller window positioned high between the last two bays, which lead to the vestry and rooms behind the main chapel. The north side includes a short window near the front bay. A modern lean-to structure is present at the rear.

Inside, the chapel has a raked gallery that follows the angles of the side walls, with a panelled front supported by cast iron columns. The ceiling is adorned with a cornice and a large central rose featuring acanthus designs, foliage trails, bosses, and a central ventilator. Behind the organ, there is a tall cambered arch at the back of the 'set fawr', embellished with a bracket cornice and a keystone decorated with figure heads, along with panelled pilasters that have bosses. The railed platform includes a wooden handrail with iron uprights and quatrefoil panelled newels leading to curved steps.
