The houses are all 2-storey of rubble stone construction originally with slate roofs and stone ridge stacks. The windows and doors are all replaced, mostly in original openings.

A single-fronted house with stone segmental-headed openings, and roof replaced with synthetic slates. Built as a pair with No 164.

Both ground floor rooms retain stone winding stairs, suggesting that they were originally 2 dwellings.
