Description
31/32 Park Place is a mirrored pair of semi-detached houses built from pennant stone, featuring extensive bathstone dressings and some red brick banding. The houses have slate roofs with tiled cresting and a central stone chimney that includes Gothic detailing. The eaves are adorned with bathstone brackets and a decorative band of bathstone and red brick.
At the center, there are two 3-storey gabled bays made of bathstone ashlar, each with two shouldered windows in the attic and tripartite windows on the first and ground floors. The outer faces of the bays have turrets topped with steep pyramidal roofs, which connect to gabled Gothic porches made of bathstone. The rounded corners of the houses contain staircases and feature stepped shouldered windows, with a similar window on the ground floor.
