Description

The lodge to Friars Point House is a single-storey building featuring pebbledash elevations, painted quoins, and a rubble plinth. It has a hipped slate roof at the center, with a broad gable-ended bay projecting at the front and a raised gable on the right side. The eaves are wide and boarded, with unfilled areas above collar level on the gables, and there is a square chimney at the rear. The front includes a bay window with tripartite horned sash glazing. In the right-hand corner, there is an open-sided porch that has a balustraded band over cusped arched openings on the front and side. The porch is supported by turned columns that are retained against the house, with a renewed free-standing column at the corner.
