Description

The Churchyard Cross at the Church of St Mary is made of white limestone ashlar. It features a square base consisting of four diminishing steps. The cross has a replacement socket stone with broach stops and a replacement shaft that transitions from square to octagonal. At the top, there is a neo-classical cap which is topped by a carved head that is likely original and certainly medieval in origin.
