Description
The Lodge is a small, two-storey house of middle-class status, featuring a three-window front elevation facing north. The exterior is now rendered, and the chimney on the west gable has been removed. It has an artificial slate roof with a tiled ridge. The house includes 12-pane horned sash windows in recessed frames, both at the front and in three of the rear openings, with stone sills. The main windows are fitted with internal boxed shutters.
Inside, there is a central hall and staircase, featuring a plain Regency staircase with a hardwood handrail that coils at the foot. The main rooms have 6-panel doors, and there is an original fireplace in the room to the left.
