Description
No. 10 Priory Hill is a house, likely dating from the 19th century. The north (road-facing) elevation has two storeys and an attic, incorporating four bays. A central gable features a semi-circular headed sash window with radiating tracery in the attic. The first floor has three 12-pane sash windows, and a blind opening towards the left end. On the ground floor are a four-pane sash window at the left end, a six-panelled door with a plain rectangular fanlight, a three-light mullioned window within a shopfront casing of pilasters, fascia, and cornice, and a four-panelled door with a small fanlight at the right end. A small forecourt is enclosed by a low stone retaining wall and 19th-century railings. The south elevation includes a two-storey canted bay window extending over the River Honddu, as well as sash windows with glazing bars, and another sash window to the attic storey. The north elevation also features a 9-pane sash window to the attic, a small sash window on the second floor towards the rear, and on the ground floor, a doorway, a 12-pane sash window, and a small sash window towards the rear.
