Description
Priory Hill House is a three-storey residence built in stucco, featuring an eaves band and giant Corinthian pilasters at the corners, along with bands at the second and first floor levels. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, boasting overhanging eaves. The north elevation consists of three bays, with a central projecting bay. It has twelve-pane sash windows, while the second floor has square six-pane sashes. The entrance is marked by a round-headed and pedimented doorcase, which includes fielded panelled reveals, a fielded panelled door, and a semi-circular fanlight with a contemporary lampholder. The east elevation has two bays.
At the west end of the house, there is a two-storey service wing that features a half-hipped slate roof and pebbledash cladding. The street elevation includes an attic window and a nine-pane hopper window below it.
The property is complemented by 19th-century area railings along Priory Hill and to the east. Inside, the house retains a good interior with original cornices, chimney pieces, panelled doors, and a staircase.
