Description

The rear garden wall for numbers 18 to 21 Castle Street is a high structure made of stone rubble with a coping. It marks the boundary between the properties on Castle Street and what used to be the forecourt on the north side of the now-demolished Queen’s Head hotel. The rear garden wall of number 21 Castle Street continues southward, serving as the eastern wall of an open area, and extends as far as the entrance to the vault beneath the market.
